Hemlock Farms offers a variety of year-round activities for residents of all ages. There are recreational and cultural offerings sure to keep association members busy without ever leaving the community.

​

Enjoy swimming, boating and fishing on out beautiful lakes and ponds. In order to preserve the pristine nature of our lakes and environment, gas-powered motors are not permitted.

​

Elm Beach, Laurel Ridge Beach, Hemlock Hills Beach, Little Camp Beach, Black Birch Beach, Fawn Hill Family Park, Steer Barn Clubhouse Complex, Youth Center and all lakes and ponds are facilities overseen by the Recreation Department.

​

Catch-and-Release is encouraged to ensure good fishing for all. All facilities provide boat docks or racks for storage of members' watercraft.

Elm Beach

Elm Beach is the largest and most popular beach for sunbathing and swimming at Hemlock Farms. Members can also enjoy volleyball or picnics in the shade under a pavilion. 

Black Birch

Black Birch has one of the most accessible boat launches in Hemlock Farms on McConnell Lake and also offers picnic tables near the shore.

Hemlock Hills

Located on the southern end of Hemlock Lake, Hemlock Hills offers some of the best fishing in our community as well as beautiful views of the Lords Valley Country Club.

Laurel Ridge

Great for boating and swimming. The beach offers a beautiful view of the north end of McConnell Lake and is a great spot to picnic with friends and family.

Little Camp Beach

Little Camp Beach is one of our most beautiful facilities. From Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend you can enjoy swimming. It's also a great place for families to fish, swim, play games or picnic under a pavilion.

Basswood Cove

Basswood Cove has a beautiful view of the southern end of McConnell Lake and offers great off-shore fishing.

Lower Hemlock Lake

Lower Hemlock is one of the most picturesque spots in Hemlock Farms.  It offers a large walk-out dock providing a prime location for all ages to fish.

Fawn Hill Family Park
Horseback Riding

Fawn Hill Family Park is a great place to bring the entire family for a day of fun and activity! In addition to the largest outdoor pool in Hemlock Farms, kids of all ages can enjoy the large playground, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, various ball fields, and fitness trail.

Fawn Hill is also the location for Hemlock Farms Day, outdoor concerts, National Night Out, and other fun activities.

 

During the summer months, Fawn Hill is the place to be for kids

5-13 years old, when the Summer Day Camp is in full swing. The camp provides sports, arts and crafts, day trips, swimming,

and friendships that last a lifetime.

The Fawn Hill Outdoor Pool and Bathhouse features zero entry, a water feature, triple slides and is heated. Home to the Hemlock Hurricanes Swim Team as well.

 

Open 11:00am - 7:00pm daily, from Saturday of Father's Day weekend until Monday of Labor Day weekend.

Steer Barn Clubhouse

No matter the season, there's always something fun and exciting happening at Hemlock Farm's Clubhouse.

 

The Clubhouse is known as “The Steer Barn” because it once housed the Brewster family livestock.

 

Members enjoy socializing through a number of engaging activities that cater to a wide range of diverse interests.
