No matter the season, there's always something fun and exciting happening at Hemlock Farms. Members enjoy socializing
through some engaging Hemlock Farms clubs that cater
to a wide range of diverse interests.
Brewster Garden
Brewster Garden is a little parcel of land right outside the Orchard House. Members may rent a row in the garden where they may plant flowers, herbs, and vegetables with this group.
Columbia Italian-American Club (CIAC)
The Hemlock Farms Columbia Italian-American Club, Inc. (CIAC) is a non-profit organization that honors and promotes Italian heritage and culture.
Fishing Group of Hemlock Farms
Celebrating one of the favorite activities in our community, the Fishing Group of Hemlock Farms is open to all members & meets once a month in April, May, and September. The Club hosts bass tournaments and children’s fishing derbies throughout the summer.
Happy Hookers
If you enjoy learning from others in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, this group is for you. “The Happy Hookers” welcome crocheters, knitters, embroiderers, and more, from beginners to advanced.
Gaming Group
Board games, Dungeons, and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, or bring your favorite! Come play every Wednesday at the Conference Center.
European Social Club
This club was created for all residents of Hemlock Farms and focuses on celebrating and sharing our European heritage.
The club’s various activities and events include food tasting, cultural lectures, and children’s activities as they hope to enrich our lives with more knowledge from the Old Country.
Women’s Club
The Hemlock Farms Women’s Club is a social and philanthropic organization that holds fundraising gatherings and educational programs.
Chess Group
The Hemlock Farms Chess Group welcomes chess players
of all levels, from beginner to advanced, and offers
free lessons and instruction.
Fifty Plus (50+) Club
Since 1981, the 50+ Club has been open to all Hemlock Farms members aged 50 or over. Geared toward developing and maintaining a spirit of camaraderie and fellowship, 50+ is an organized program of social, recreational, fraternal, educational, cultural and informational activities.
Food and Friends Group
Good food, companionship, and recipes. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Orchard House. Members bring a dish related to the monthly theme, eat, and share recipes, culinary ideas, and hints to this group.
