HEMLOCK AND NEARBY
The Brewster Estate

Situated on 4,500 wooded acres of the historic Brewster Estate with its original stone structures, Hemlock Farms is distinguished by its remarkable beauty and abundance of nature. Created as a country retreat by industrialist George Brewster, it was used to entertain political dignitaries and icons of the entertainment fields from the 1930s through the 1960s. The original Brewster buildings have been preserved, and the centerpiece structure of the estate has become the Lords Valley Country Club, which is one of the Platinum Clubs of America and boasts an 18-hole championship golf course.
